International Conference on Hierarchical green energy material

Environmental and energy are always the key issues related to the standard living of human being. To fulfill the increasing demand of green materials, the Hierarchical Green-Energy Materials (Hi-GEM) Research Center, one of NCKU’s school-level research centers, was established by the grants from the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Science and Technology. Hi-GEM Center aims not only to develop novel green materials but also to cultivate high-level R&D talents, strengthen international cooperation, and create industry-academic links. With all the efforts, Hi-GEM is expected to be the hub of researchers, students, industries, and international scholars to promote the development and autonomy ratio of green-energy materials in Taiwan！

Hi-GEM center has set up Taiwan's first large-scale battery manufacturing laboratory with dry rooms, in-situ electrochemical analysis supported by simulations, and pouch cell assembly line, which meets international standards. We are committed to becoming an academic platform for talent cultivation, technology development, and international academic-industrial links. This promotes the United Nations' sustainable development goals, which reserves a sustainable environment with carbon neutrality for the next generations.
